DescriptionResponsible for preparing the sales strategy and growth plans for the region in line with the vision of the organization.
Key responsibility as a business head is to deliver Revenue, Volume and Cost objectives for his business.Responsibilities
1. Prepare, Drive & Deliver Annual Business Plan - Sales, P&L Management, Manpower Planning, Distribution Management, Reporting, BTL activities, Costs and Margins.
2. Monitor and review the performance against the planned objectives in the Business Review Meetings.
3. Responsible for achievement of Sales targets of KRPL across various product categories through effective Sales strategies.
4. Responsible for the coordination of Sales and Distribution activities across the assigned regions through team performance, development and controlling sales expenses. Effectively drives sales strategy into ground level execution.
5. Responsible for achieving Primary and Secondary Sales targets across brand/pack for the assigned regions in line with Sales Strategy.
6. Periodic reporting of progress to the Management.
7. Conceptualizing and executing selling strategies for relevant product categories.
8. Devising strategies & plans/monitoring Logistics to ensure ready availability of stock at Distributor level.
9. Stock forecasting and accuracy to drive business growths/market share.
10. Revamping and replacements of stockiest to ensure better market hygiene and effective working.
11. Align with Marketing team on activations to help achieve sales objectives.
12. Set and achieve key performance targets for sales, delivery, cost, expenses and other measurements of operational performance.
13. Set up Sales Systems & Procedures to enhance productivity & performance.
14. Drive sales automation across the sales system.
15. Manage all sales related activities covering setting and strictly monitoring of sales targets and ensures accurate delivery of products in all sales channels.
16. Ensure timely collection from the market.
17. Timely update and present competitors’ activities and provides market feed-back on new products, prices changes, new launches, etc to the Management.
18. Devise plans for market expansion and focus on improvements / provide recommendations to the Management.
19. Responsible for talent acquisition, capability development and control attrition.

Undertake performance reviews and feedback for direct subordinates / team members and forward report to the HR department.21. Build a goal oriented vibrant S&D Focused sales team and create Sales Leadership.

Conduct training programs and one-on-one coaching sessions for the sales team.Experience:
15 - 18 years of experience in sales, distribution and business management. Preferably from the FMCG Industry or FMCD with prior FMCG experience.
General Management expertise with a good mix of hardcore Sales & Distribution experience with strong brands with a good track record of expanding distribution reach, volume and market execution.

Post Graduate from top B-Schools
