Job Description:
Title: Zonal Head –West
Reports to: GM Sales
Department: Onco Sales
Functional Area: Sales & Business Development
Location: Mumbai: West Zones
Travel Requirement in the role: 75% -80% of working days
Overall Objective:
The Zonal Head guides and manages the overall provision of Sales & Business Development and
programs for the company in the assigned zone.
Major areas directed are:
* Set up professional business plan for a zone/Region.
* Identify and research potential markets and advise seniors of new opportunities. Based on
the potential market identified, generating leads.
* Monitor end to end processes (sample collection to reporting including logistics process,
identifying and helping sales team to close the possible loopholes.
* Responsible for communication to sales team to ensure all company guidelines, brand
guidelines, process guidelines including the recruitment/training of sales team as per the
Company policies.
* Responsible for revenue generation from the sales team in all the markets, set Key
Performance Indicators, suggest marketing plan to central marketing team , to achieve the
annual territory wise business plan
* Risk Management – work upon a model to minimise the credit risk to the company.
* Manage and Develop the overall sales team and operation channel ensuring efficiency is
delivered through the Company’s cross functional support departments.
* Drive the sales team and business plan growth.
* Establish strategic objectives for each market using the levers of margin, price and achieving
Demanding sales, service and profit targets.
* Lead all markets business reviews.
* Suggest new products, market strategies in line with local marketplace.
Primary Objectives & Responsibilities:
* Deliver set objectives of the company in terms of appointing numbers of sales team and
revenue targets
* Periodic Review on key performance indicators and create and implement action plan for
zone/region.
* Performing analysis and developing action plans.
* Providing assistance in the growth of annual business plans by conferring between the sales
team and Customers.
* Must ensure the performance of the business plans by coordinating with the company
resources.
* Must lead the execution improvement by communicating results of the operating unit's
progress in a timely and accurate manner.

point and skills in database management and record keeping.
• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Requisites:
1. Exposure of assigned zone is must.
2. Must possess a bachelor's degree or any equivalent degree
3. Post-graduation in business (MBA or any equivalent) is preferred
4. 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in sales team handling.
