Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Management • Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process end-to-end, in alignment with CEO/CFO priorities and Emami Group timelines. • Build and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast covering revenue, EBITDA, and working capital, updated monthly for competitive shifts. • Drive monthly variance analysis vs. budget/forecast with clear root-cause explanations and corrective-action tracking to closure. 3. Channel & SKU Profitability • Track and analyse profitability across D2C, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, quick commerce, and offline channels. • Monitor commission structures, logistics costs, discounting, and RTO/return costs by channel. • Maintain SKU-level and channel-level contribution margin visibility; flag margin leakage and pricing risks proactively. 4. What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months • Clean handover and ownership of monthly MIS and rolling forecast, delivered on time with <2% variance vs. final books. • At least one automation initiative live (dashboard or reporting tool) reducing manual reporting effort. • Demonstrated channel/SKU profitability visibility across all major platforms, with at least one margin-leakage finding actioned.
