Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in conjunction with our Executive Directors, set and agree sales targets for team and individuals.
- Manage day-to-day performance of the Sales Team and deliver reviews and accountability of their performance, implement performance plans to enable them to get results and deliver objectives
- Coach, mentor and develop the Sales Team to drive their motivation of sales and marketing activities on a daily basis to achieve results
- Work with the Sales team to qualify consistent lead generation, prospecting process, effective selling strategies, and face to face meetings with clients
- Lead and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings
- Manage recruitment, training & coaching of sales team according to HR guidelines
- Work in conjunction with Group Marketing Manager to review existing market, identify new opportunities and keep informed of market trends.
- Implement reporting process to stakeholders of key figures, targets, and objectives in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
- Maintain accurate CRM management and 'fit for purpose' pipeline
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sale targets
- Develop proposals for accurate and intelligent pricing that includes management of Gross Profit
- Liaise with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Marketing and other internal or external parties
Key Requirements & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience working within Sales, preferably within the Construction or HVAC industry
- At least 1 year of prior management experience or demonstration of a proven track record for obtaining results
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with preparing and delivering presentations
- Familiar with data analysis, reporting and sales process
- Be able to demonstrate experience of developing strategic business and marketing plans, budgets, and forecasting
- Ability to train, mentor and support a Sales team
- Excellent Commercial awareness and strong financial acumen and numeric skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT literate ideally with experience of working with an ERP system
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Personable, presentable, and articulate
- Ability to work within deadlines and cope under pressure
- Interpersonal and team-working skills
