About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-level .NET Developer with solid experience in building and supporting e-commerce platforms. In this role, you will work on developing high-performance web applications, integrating third-party services, and ensuring seamless online shopping experiences for our customers. You’ll collaborate with senior developers, designers, and QA engineers while having ownership of specific modules and features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain ASP.NET Core / MVC-based e-commerce applications.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs for payment gateways, logistics, and third-party services.
- Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ for database design and optimization.
- Support front-end developers by integrating back-end services with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance for high-traffic e-commerce platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with senior developers on architectural improvements and with junior developers for mentoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3–5 years of experience as a .NET Developer, preferably in e-commerce or web applications.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, and .NET Framework.
- Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
- Familiarity with front-end integration (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a modern framework).
- Hands-on experience with API development and integration.
- Good understanding of web security practices (e.g., protecting customer and transaction data).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with headless commerce or ERP/CRM integrations is a plus.
