The company is an independent European logistics service provider, delivering a wide range of transport and customer specific logistics services. The roll is in Customer Service department as: Account Manager
Responsabilities:
The role supports the sales and customer service departments on all commercial matters:
- Collects all kinds of related information from (potential) customers and clients;
- Approaches potential customers and clients and tries to arrange a personal visit from one of the sales managers;
- Maintains relationship with existing customers;
- Sends information (material) and archiving relevant correspondence;
- Sets up and manages the customer database, fuel surcharges and rates;
- Supports the sales department and customer service;
- Supports in setting up and managing a standard framework of costs and cost price calculation;
- Monitors tender platforms (such as Ticontract) for interesting tenders;
- Takes care of the financial assessment (creditworthiness);
- Identifies timely of deviations in quotations, orders / or the information received and the passing on of these deviations to the client;
- Coordinates the handling of completed orders (after-sales);
- Performs profitability analyses on all existing business;
- Monitors validity of rate agreements and acts pro-actively on expiring rates;
- Maintains and completes the tariff list for all customers;
- Prepares and sends of performance reports.
- Keeps up-to-date and conducts research regarding developments in the marketQualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
LANGUAGES: Very good command in English (writing/speaking/understanding min. C1 level), Romanian, Dutch, French and German is an advantage.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Advanced MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel); automated systems (Office, WMS, CRM).
