Title: Account Sales Manager Battery-Coating-Advanced Materials- Japan
Required is a dynamic personality who is customer oriented with solid Technical and commercial background.
He / She will mainly in charge of Japanese companies in Li-ion battery industry both inside & outside Japan to meet the expanding needs of global EV and 3C markets.
He or she needs to collaborate with the technical support team to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
He or she will be responsible for Coating/Painting application as well..
Position reports to the Sales Director for Japan.
I. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:
- Constant communication and coordination with key persons of the company in Product Development, R&D, Sales in other region, Quality Control and Marketing teams inside global organization. Regular contacts with customers and distributors are an important part of the job as well.
- Conducting activities with respect to extension of the Company’s business in the territory of Japan, especially for battery & coating/painting industries.
- Global key account management for Japanese customers’ oversea factories.
- Identifying new opportunities for development of the Company’s products, including, by means of participation in various technical seminars, conferences, technical discussions with industry experts.
- Assisting the Company’s liaison with global high-performance companies and technical colleagues and ensuring technological developments are transferred to Japanese industry and the relevant customers.
- Assisting in the maintenance by the Company of relationship with existing customers and increasing sales of the Company’s products.
- Conducting activities with respect to identifying needs of potential customers and creating pipeline projects for the Company’s products.
- Conducting activities with regard to development of new applications of the Company’s products.
II. Qualification requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Material Engineering. Is an advantage
- +5 years of working experience inside supply chain of Li-ion battery industry as a sales or technical player.
- Good knowledge of battery materials, manufacturing process and battery performance testing - Be familiar with EV market and IATF 16949 standard applicable for automotive industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills. Good ability to engage with customers at all levels: management, R&D staff, production engineers.
- Ability to work as a part of multi-cultural global team.
- Experience in global key account management is a plus.
- English fluent both oral and written
