Accountant

Salary up to £45,000PA

Parkside Recruitment is delighted to be working with a growing brand with the appointment of a Qualified Accountant. This role will be responsible for the control and maintenance of all the groups financial systems. Working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure that business systems continue to meet and improve current business requirements and meet accounting and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledgers and regularly review them
• Accurate and timely financial information - management accounting and projects
• Review stock and stock policies and procedures
• Develop and improve business software
• Cash - control, management, and forecasting
• Budgeting process
• Trading/management forecasts
• Statutory accounts and corporation tax
• Tax / VAT / foreign currency

The successful candidate:

• Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise
• Improvement mind-set
• ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• 3 years or equivalent experience in a similar role (Desirable)
