Our client is a leading player in the global market in its segment, operating in multiple countries. As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a small and talented team of professionals and gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Support the external financial audits by providing required reports and documents.
• Provide support in the preparation of tax filings and other statutory requirements.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and assignments as necessary.

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accountant in an international company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Very good English and Bulgarian language skills both written and spoken.
• Very good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
