Contract type: 2 year fixed-term contract
*This position may initially be offered as a fixed-term contract for two years, in line with company's international policy for new employees. However, based on our experience, all employees have transitioned to permanent contracts with long-term stability after the two-year period.Responsibilities:
- carries out the accounting registration of the financial-accounting operations of the company in accordance with the legislation in force and with the internal procedures of the company.
- daily booking of bank statements and preparing payments for external customers and suppliers
- researching, clearing, and communicating booking or posting errors to the appropriate parties
- reconciliations for the balance sheet accounts responsible, with supporting documentation according to the company’s standards and within the required timescale.
- responsible for the correctness, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards of accounting records
- consults and applies local accounting rules and international standards.
- ensures the availability of supporting documents for accounting records.
- collaboration with treasury team
- offers support in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
- provides support in preparing regulatory financial reports to financial supervisory authorities, tax authorities, NBR.
- provides support in preparing monthly reports to the group for the company's activity.
Requirements:
- min. 2-3 years in a similar role, ideally in finance/banking sector
- university degree in finance & accounting
- Charisma ERP experience would be an asset.
- banking accounting /reporting legislation knowledge- a substantial plus
- good abilities in MS Office, especially Excel at a good to advanced level
- English language - medium
- accuracy, speed, proactivity, great attention to details, good organization skills
- ability to act and operate independently as well as work collaboratively with colleagues.
