Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements of the Branch
• Preparing all regulatory reporting of the Branch for local regulatory bodies
• Cooperation with the head office in Poland to design the principles of accounting of the Branch, including preparation of accounting policies and procedures;
• Ongoing identification of changes in the area of accounting, reporting and taxes in the Republic of Slovakia, implementation of such changes into the internal provisions and notifying them with the aim of introducing changes in IT systems;
• Participation in the recording process and reconciliation of accounting books;
• Accounting services for internal operations of the Branch;
• Development of optimising solutions with respect to the functioning accounting processes and participation in their implementation;
• Settlements of tax liabilities of the Branch, including preparation and filing, on the Branch's behalf, of tax declarations and cooperation with an external accounting office, identification of associated entities, preparation and updates of tax documents for transactions with associated entities, reporting within the scope of transfer pricing, including reporting of data necessary for performance of group obligations within the scope of transfer pricing and foreign controlled entities;
• Cooperation with Slovakian financial supervision authorities, Slovakian tax authorities and bank union organisations in Slovakia

Requirements:

• English on a communicative level (B2 as a minimum);
• higher education, preferred study majors: sciences, economics, accounting, banking;
• minimum two years of experience in area of financial and regulatory reporting, with strong knowledge of the Slovakian reporting regulations and systems in banking area.
• familiarity with the IFRS, taking the specific operation of banks into account;
• in-depth knowledge of MS Office;
• high analytical skills and creativity;
• SQL knowledge will be an extra advantage.
