Responsibilities

• Preparation of month end
• Strong attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines
• calculation of accruals and prepayments.
• Perform regular accounting controls
• Bookkeeping.
• periodic supplier and employees' expenses statement reconciliations prior processing supplier and employees' expenses payments in accordance with the payment terms and allocate those payments on a regular basis.
• Fixed asset accounting and reconciliations.
• Periodic controls around sales invoices / AR management.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Management Accounts.
• Providing support to the team

Qualifications and keys skills

• Strong excel skills/ data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines
• Ideally Sage 50 Accounts knowledge.
• Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA (actively studying) with a minimum of 1-year accounting experience.
• Pro-active approach eager to learn and develop.
• Analytical skills.
• Exceptionally organised.
• Ability to identify and correct errors to ensure impeccable accuracy.
