Responsibility:

• Ensuring that all procedures and instructions of Accounting Department are implemented and takes relevant decisions;
• Taking part in meeting of department directors, and performing necessary works in coordination with other department directors;
• Performing and coordinating month-end closing procedures to prepare the Financial Control Package;
• Keeping and Checking books and records of the company in accordance with laws and timely pays such legal obligations as corporations tax, withholding and VAT;
• Ensuring that legal permits and licenses are taken and following their validity periods;
• Taking out, monitoring the insurance policies of the company and performing their risk management;
• Checking fixed assets and all active assets, performing their annual count and ensuring that records are kept;
• Preparing other reports to be submitted to the management;
• Notifying auditors related to the company as regards Accounting;
• Representing the company with signature authority as regards his/her area before legal institutions and agencies;
• Sharing necessary information with his/her director in annual budget activities;
• Ensuring that department employees work according to personnel regulations and disciplinary instructions, regulating their shifts, overtime works and annual leaves, performing their performance evaluations and ensuring their development;
• Implementing the verbal instructions given by Branch Manager in accordance with administrative affairs and by his/her Superior director in technical issues;
• Implement the Financial Records in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS standarts;
• Checking the cash outflows.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or finance;
• Good knowledge of accounting and related software (1C, MS Excel);
• At least 5 years of working experience as a Deputy Chief Accountant or Chief Accountant;
• English - upper intermediate
• Professional certificates (CAP, CIPA, etc.) would be an advantage.
