Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee and manage accounting operations for our German-speaking clients. This role offers the unique opportunity to establish and lead a dedicated accounting team, ensuring compliance with both local and international standards while providing strategic financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Oversee and manage accounting operations specifically tailored to German-speaking clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and expand a team of accountants, with the potential to bring in a pre-existing team.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and other financial documentation.
- Strategic Support: Provide strategic financial advice and support to clients, including tax planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to enhance accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Client Relations: Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CECCAR) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a focus on German-speaking clients.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
