My client is an accountancy practice - multi-skilled firm of chartered accountants, auditors, tax advisers and all-round business specialists with clients across the UK.
My client is looking for an experienced candidate within accountancy:
- 2 years of experience on a similar role.
- AAT fully qualified or ACCA part qualified.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and Vlookups are the minimum).
- Experience of working with Sage, Xero, Quickbooks (desirable).
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.

The main duties will be:
- Day to day bookkeeping and accounts maintenance for the clients.
- Posting invoices.
- Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers.
- Preparation and submission of client's monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
- Posting of month end journals.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
