Accountant with minimum 3 years of UAE experience who will be responsible for the maintaining accurate financial data and will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager except for certain functions that require direct reporting to Chief Financial Officer.

Job Roles for all offices:

• Raising invoices as per project milestone
• Recording collections
• Recording vendor bills
• Paying vendors
• Recording vendor payments
• Reconciling bank balance with books
• Preparing Client SOAs
• Preparing Project SOAs
• VAT treatment of input & output
• Preparing quarterly VAT Returns
• Recording monthly amortization of prepayments
• Recording monthly depreciation
• Zoho Accounting
• Maintaining Projects in Zoho
• Others as delegated

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience in creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Well versed in UAE VAT principles
• Good spreadsheet (Excel) skills
• With working knowledge or experience in using Zoho accounting software is a plus
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Accuracy and details oriented
• Good communication skills
