Are you ready to excel in an Accounts Payable role that offers a diverse and dynamic work environment? This is an exciting time to join a new finance team and being involved with working across Europe and Middle East
Role Highlights:
- Objective: Responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable functions, including invoices, T&E processing, payment execution, and supplier queries.
- Responsibilities: Dive into your daily tasks, which include ERP invoice postings, payment processing, T&E management (Concur), vendor support, and reconciliations.
- Team Leadership: Step into the role of team lead for AP Software - AP Advantage, ensuring data accuracy and timely invoice distribution.
- Performance Reporting: Keep the team on track by issuing weekly reports on APA KPIs.
- Audit Management: Take charge of internal, external, or SOX audits, ensuring compliance.
- Month-End Tasks: Handle month-end closing tasks, including intercompany reconciliation, AP account reconciliation, accruals, and aging analysis.
- Efficiency Improvement: Actively participate in projects aimed at reducing manual processes and enhancing efficiency.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Be ready to assist in various AP projects as needed.
- Diverse Challenges: Embrace the opportunity for diverse projects and responsibilities that may arise at the company's discretion.
Qualifications:
- Education: An accounting qualification or relevant work experience is required.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and accounting, ideally in a shared service environment. ideally at least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of AP processes, and a commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite is a must, and knowledge of Syteline is desirable.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is key to success in this role.
