Scope of the Role

• Lead an international team operating across Romania and Germany.
• Maintain accuracy in reporting and KPIs.
• Promote profitability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strong knowledge and application of AP IFRS and tax compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls.

• Reports to: SSCF Lead 
• Team: New SSC structure locally

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong leadership and multicultural management skills, able to integrate and lead teams across two major companies.
• Previous experience in a Shared Service Center, ideally in a team lead capacity.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and train the Accounts Payable Team in financial processing activities.
• Maintain appropriate system and process controls.
• Monitor, coordinate, and deploy workloads and resources effectively.
• Drive process improvement and standardization.
• Ensure provision of Accounts Payable services across the organization.
• Manage workload assignment and team resources.
• Liaise regularly with the reporting hierarchy.
• Investigate and resolve complex payment issues.
• Ensure compliance and validations are carried out properly.
• Monitor supplier account creation, collaborating with procurement for correct contract terms.
• Manage quality control and audits, initiating corrective actions when needed.
• Set and evaluate individual targets.
• Analyze and resolve complex accounts payable and vendor issues.
• Carry out other duties as a Team Leader as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• (Nice to have) Experience leading international teams or in a regional leadership role.
• (Nice to have) Previous Shared Service Center experience.
• SAP expertise is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
