Parkside Recruitment are currently partnering with a global organisation for the appointment of a Accounts Receivable Manager.
You will ideally have 5 years experience in a similar position and be eager to progress your career into a fast paced role.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 4/5 and ensuring that all daily/weekly reconciliations are completed. (Cash, Credit Card, Change Orders, online sales)
- Responsible for day-to-day relationships with banks and managing agents
- Review and map end-to-end cash office processes with a view to drive change and efficiency across both Treasury and cash office areas including change in operating systems
- Negotiation of bank terms and charges
- Responsible for preparing group cashflow forecasts
- Responsible for managing Group's treasury policy and forex trades
- Define and develop cash management and investment procedures / policies in line with group directives.
- Evaluate, recommend and implement new cash management products / software to optimise cash management
- Setting up controls and driving change through continuous process improvements
- Overseeing and reviewing monthly journals
- Development and documenting of process flows within the business in order to identify efficiency's and suggest improvements.
- Assist in putting in new processes and procedures in place, motivating and developing the team as well as liaising with key internal stakeholders to understand and ensure that the team deliver expectations.
- Staff management and development, setting targets and objectives for the team.
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of previous management experience within a AR position
- IT literacy including a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Confident in training, developing and coaching direct reports.
- Able to build strong relationships and confident enough to communicate at all levels.
- A problem solving attitude with the ability to identify problems and suggest solutions.
- Good attention to detail skills.
