In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring client data is accurate, complete, and aligned to business expectations—impacting everything from pricing to strategic decision-making.

About the Business Unit

This position sits within the Data division—a vital unit supporting multiple business functions within the Life Reinsurance space. The team acts as a centre of excellence for data quality, governance, and actionable analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate, clean, and verify client data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify and document discrepancies between client data and internal data standards
• Use your actuarial product knowledge to flag and explain inconsistencies in data submissions
• Provide structured insights that support downstream teams across actuarial, finance, and underwriting functions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data-related issues
• Maintain traceable documentation and implement long-term solutions for recurring data quality gaps

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
• Minimum 6 completed actuarial exams
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within reinsurance or life insurance
• Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with life insurance product structures and terminology
