Duties & Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will be responsible for setting the terms of trade for the group, retail and funeral businesses; conducting ad hoc investigations into drivers of the experience across the Life Business; engaging with the relevant offices globally; maintaining research and development database; maintain the highest standard of technical competence & ensuring terms of trade guidelines are met; support the life client management strategy which includes accompanying client managers as functional experts and delivering technical presentations to clients when necessary; support the overall Life Business strategy & risk management function; liaise with technical pricing, group pricing and valuations on research areas to name a few

Desired Experience & Qualification

For this role, we would be considering Actuaries who are either qualified or near qualified actuaries with 4+ years of collective experience in Life Insurance. 

Very strong experience in data analysis and basis setting. Have strong numerical and analytical skills

Software: VBA/Excel; SQL Server;  Power BI/Power Query/Power Pivot; Axis experience analysis software would be beneficial

Strong problem solving and data management skills coupled with excellent communication skills as characteristics.
