Our client is an InsurTech platform that hosts both digital-native and traditional distributors of insurance. They also work on the supply side – with Insurers – to develop relevant innovative and current insurance products. Within 3 years of business, they have partnered with 40+ insurance distributor companies from over 10 industries (within and beyond BFSI) in India, and have made insurance accessible to millennials, HNIs, first time insurance buyers, salaried individuals, rural population, blue-collar workers, home buyers, and multiple other customer segments. They are building up to be leaders in this segment in India and are aiming to replicate this success story in the GCC market
Role details:
- Title / Designation: Lead – Affinity Partnerships
- Reporting Manager: Co-founder and Global Head of Global Business Development
- Location: Dubai, UAE
Role & responsibilities:
- Own the regional revenue target
- Keep expanding the base of potential partners – preferably digital first – across industries
- Identify and solution for unique insurance propositions with consumer organizations and position them consultatively with the affinity partners
- Independently work with potential partners through the sales funnel and execute timely closures
- Coordinate cross-functionally to oversee timely onboarding and activation of acquired partners teams
Candidate requirements:
- Total experience of 8-10 years
- Proven recent experience of 3+ years in building, sustaining, growing and expanding affinity partnerships, preferably in insurance partnerships
- Proven competence in striking up strategic alliances / partnerships, to drive B2B / B2B2C sales, preferably via digital platforms
- Experience with BFSI / Fintech, or with BFSI/Fintech partners will also be valuable
- Multiple relevant soft skills and competencies like relentless outcome focus, multi-stakeholder collaboration, top notch oral and written communication skills, great presentation skills, smart work, commitment, ownership, thinking on the feet, high-energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
