Key Accountabilities:
Policy Implementation and evangelist:
- Promoting and implanting policies that comply with labour laws and promote fair treatment of employees. Review any new policy changes by the govt and ensure smooth implementation of the same from time to time.
Employee Relations:
- Managing relationships between the organization and its employees addressing grievances and fostering a positive work environment
Negotiation:- Engaging in collective bargaining with unions, if present, to reach agreements on employment terms and conditions
Compliance:
- Ensuring the company adheres to labour laws, regulations and standards in all aspects of employee relations and workplace practices
Conflict Resolutions:
- Resolving disputes and conflicts that arises between management and employees or among employees themselves
Communication:
- Facilitating communication between management, employees and external stakeholders on matter related to industrial relations
Training and Education:
- Providing guidance, training and education to management and employees on labour laws, company policies and best practices in industrial relations
Financial Dimensions
- Planning and budgeting related to employee relations, including costs for negotiations, dispute resolution, legal fees, training programs and compliance efforts
- Analyzing the financial impact of labour relations strategies, policies and decisions on the organisations bottom line, including costs of disputes or labour actions
- Identifying potential financial risks associated with non-compliance, legal issues or employee dissatisfaction and developing strategies to mitigate these risks
- Allocating resources effectively to support various aspects of industrial relations such as investing in training, technology or legal support to ensure compliance and positive employee relations
Other Dimensions:
- Total workforce approximately 7000 employees under 200 different contracts/contractors
- Responsible for all Entities /companies Regulatory and Compliances needs.
- Oversee Industrial Relations Issues of all business entities
- Proficient in sensitizing Sr Leadership team in advance - during Anti -social disruptions /and take actions as desired to avert any untoward situation/s.
- Understanding current industrial scenario within Delhi demographics
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA or MSW
- Preferably Law Graduate having experience and strong knowledge in Compliance, Regulatory and Litigation
- Around 15 years of experience in similar area, preferably from manufacturing industryCheck Your Resume for Match
