- Lead and coordinate the activities of the Security vertical to ensure timely and effective response to information security threats
- Own the critical process steps – detection, validation, containment, remediation, and communication
- Identify and measure critical security operations metrics and co-ordinate with vendors/partners to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the response team
- Monitor information security threat intelligence resources and maintain situational awareness of security events
- Respond to critical security incidents and lead escalation teams to close with response, containment and remediation
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures to deal with imminent threat, with clearly laid out tasks and governance mechanisms to ensure rapid response
- Create and maintain a set of security incident catalogue to effectively trigger and execute the security incident response process
- Communicate the impact of security incidents within and outside the organization
- Demonstrate technical expertise on threat attacks, attack trends, and attack tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Draft, edit, and review threat intelligence analysis from multiple sources in addition to collecting and analyzing open-source intelligence
- Develop intelligence on, characterize, and track threat actors’ activities.
- Produce intelligence reports on threat and threat attacker activities based on research, collection, and analysis of intelligence data.
