Responsibilities

Candidate profile
• C/C++, Layer 1 / Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocol development, 3gpp, 5G space, testing activities (automated)
o Split of the 2 seniors between L1 physical and L2/L3 expertise
• Collaborate directly to Viavi US, overlap on the normal work hours
• 5G experience is ideal, yet flexible to consider 4G contribution
• 2-3month ramp-up of team on 5G space and product
• New feature introduction, bug fixing and customer support (~20% of time)
• Follow the CI/CD process already in place, ToT commit structure and diligence
• Follow the SAFE process in place for the TM500 product
• Jira/Confluence/BitBucket/TeamCity for Test Management 

Skills

Must have

C/C++, Python, 3GPP specifications, Wireless Layer 1 (Physical Layer), Layer 2 and Layer 3 (Mac, RRC and NAS) protocols 

Nice to have

Ability to work with teams in different geographies, time zones
