Our client is a multinational company, a market leader in the distribution of chemicals, is looking for an Area Sales Manager.

Area Sales Manager - Water Treatment Division

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the existing portfolio of customers, ensuring consistent growth and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and building sustainable partnerships.
• Establish and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, offering technical advice and support tailored to customer needs.
• Lead contract negotiations (terms, conditions, and pricing) to ensure profitability and compliance with company objectives.
• Take full responsibility for product management and sales activities related to the Water Division portfolio.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the water treatment or related industries.
• Previous experience in selling raw materials for wastewater and drinking water treatment plants, with an existing professional network in this sector, is a strong advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong results-oriented mindset, able to translate customer needs into actionable business plans.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and risks.
• Driving license and flexibility to travel.
