Your Responsibilities & Tasks As an Area Sales Manager
- Market Intelligence: Keep a track of the competitors related to Price, Product & Promotion and device strategies to overcome the issues related to your market and Analyze the Sale Data for every retailer at SKU level to leverage on the gaps identified. Drive the team based on the analysis done on the sales trend and improve the product mix. Mapping of your market and develop a thorough understanding on the same.
- New Business Leads: To Identify the Business Opportunities and evaluating them and converting prospects in to customers. Visit trade market/ Retailers and appoint new dealers, retailers for more market penetration. To expand Business by connecting with more dealers and expanding market reach by roping-in more retailers.
- Achieve the Sales Target for Designated Area: To achieve the sales targets monthly, quarterly and annually, set by management.
- Product Awareness: To launch new products by conducting retailers / plumbers meetings and to bring awareness about product properties, advantages and Applications / usage. To conduct Channel Partners (Stockiest, Retailers) meet for motivating, briefing & educating And increasing awareness on product, schemes, and application procedures.
- Sales Promotions: To Manage Sales promotion activities i.e. all ATL and BTL activities. To design and implement sales promo schemes at branch level by monitoring sales and marketing activities. Ensuring implementation of effective strategies to maximize sales and revenues. Communicating various promotional scheme to the dealer & motivating them to achieve planned target.
- Relationship Management: Maintain relationship with clients, channel partners, dealers by providing support, information and guidance. Ensure Participation on a monthly basis from each and every stake holders and improve on the extraction from their potential to achieve higher throughput month on month.
- Budgeting and Managing Sales: Designing external and internal communication strategies, manage the channel pricing strategy, and develop the Channel Annual Operating Financial Plan for better results and organizational growth.

- Experience: - 10+ Years
- Education: - MBA – Marketing from Premium institutes
