Our client, a Global FMCG player is looking for a Travel Retail – Area Manager looking after Dubai Duty free as a customer.

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business activities in Travel Retail Business Segment
Objectives
- Develop the business activity and reach profitability objectives in the territory, in accordance to the brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Contribute with the team to the strategic commercial development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans with key customers. Strive to foster a professional consultancy partnership with customer, enabling the overall sales and profit goals to be achieved.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Implement sales strategies and formulate business plan for all customers
- Sales planning and forecasting,
- Planning and organizing sales promotion activities with customers
- Prepare Annual Marketing/Promotion Calendar, New product launch, In-store brand visibility
- Control and monitor in-market A&P budget and perform analysis of commercial A&P spending
- Perform market and competitor data analysis and timely action against competitor activities
- Establishing strong PR with operator senior Management, Shop Floor Management, Sales Staff and Logistical Staff to ensure optimum positioning and sales of our brands
- Meeting Shipment, depletion and Market Share objectives
- Partner with Travel Retail Marketing team to customize global /tactical promotions & visibility to strengthen brand equity
Must have :
- Have a Bachelor or Master degree in business related disciplines
- Have 8+ years of relevant experience in sales and key account management with significant leadership role, preferably experience and familiarity with travel retail business, FMCG and luxury brands.
- Are experienced in account planning & management, operational policy & procedure, merchandising knowledge and skills and financial knowledge
- Have evidence of success in negotiations or management with customers.
- Are comfortable working in a changing environment
