We are recruiting an Area Sales Manager dedicated to infrastructure projects across Romania.
The position focuses on developing strategic partnerships with construction companies involved in roads, highways, bridges, viaducts, hydrotechnical works, and complex reinforced-concrete structures.
The role blends technical understanding with commercial responsibility and plays a key part in expanding our client’s presence in the infrastructure segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the infrastructure construction sector
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with contractors, designers, and project owners
- Promote and present technical solutions tailored to each infrastructure project
- Monitor public and private tenders, project awards, and execution phases
- Develop and maintain an interactive map for tracking tenders, contractors, bidders, winners, and subcontractors
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and internal project updates
- Collaborate closely with the technical/engineering team to design customised formwork solutions
- Prepare commercial proposals and support negotiations with key clients
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to strengthening market presence in the infrastructure segment
- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and industry events as required
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering, CFDP, Hydrotechnics, or a related technical field
- Proven experience presenting or selling technical solutions for infrastructure or large construction projects
- Solid understanding of execution processes and requirements for major infrastructure works
- Strong communication abilities when working with general contractors, designers, and project owners
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong commercial drive
- Proactive, motivated, and confident in developing long-term partnerships
- Good MS Office skills
- Driving licence (Category B)
- Good level of English
