AREA SALES MANAGER SPAIN AND PORTUGAL

To build customer relationships to both existing and new customers and turn these customers into long-term customers. To achieve sales target in Spain and Portugal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate sales leads and convert prospects into successful customers through cold calling, visiting customer sites and presenting our portfolio of products and systems.
- Create a sales pipeline through customer research and maintaining the CRM system (Salesforce/ GE), ensuring it is always accurate.
- Build a customer relationship with regular contact whether through telephone conversations, Teams meetings or visiting them and by doing so evaluate their needs and requirements.
- Work to achieve both and individual sales target and the team’s sales target.
- Monitor the organisation’s competitors, their products and marketing strategies.
- Produce quotes in a timely manner and send to customer, supported by Internal Sales/Back Office .
- Liaise and work with the Technical team for more in depth and technical solutions/systems and for drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all associated standards ISO, H&S and Environmental
Profile
A minimum of 3 year’s experience in an area sales role for technical equipment
Experience and knowledge of conveyors
Commercial and contractual knowledge
Understands margins and mark ups
Experience of CRM systems
Excellent Customer relationship skills
Ability to build internal relationships quickly with all levels
Good command of the English Language both written and verbal
Self-motivated and driven to hunt for sales.
