Parkside Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing brand located in the Hillingdon area with the appointment of an Assistant Credit Control Manager.
Ideally, you will have 2 years of experience in a similar role and had experience supervising and developing a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor & guide team members and sales team to ensure overdue debts are collected promptly in the most effective, appropriate manner
- Provide unbiased information to the business
- Responsible for individual development and progress of direct reports as well as supporting Credit Manager in doing so with the wider team.
- Good level written and verbal communication with customers, including personal visits to progress account queries, collect overdue monies and acquire market knowledge
- Obtain credit worthiness information from various information sources - Sales Teams, Company
- Attend meetings as a representative of Credit Control, to discuss, problem areas with a view to containing credit exposure.
- In the absence of Credit Manager, ensure the day to day Credit Control function operates smoothly, especially the operation of the "stop" system and obtaining credit reports.
Skills required:
- 2 years experience in a Senior or Supervisory credit control role
- Experience supervising and developing a team
- Highly organised, adaptive and innovative
- Strong relationship builder with internal and external customer
