Detailed job description:
1. Lead Marketing activities related to Sale of Marine DG Sets and Main Propulsion Engines for Defence and Commercial Marine Customers.
2. Interactions with Govt. and Private shipyards and also end customers such as Indian Navy, Coast Guard and Shipping Corporation to understand perspective / acquisition plan for various upcoming projects, collect relevant information
3. Networking with direct and end customers and develop market intelligence to identify thrust areas and potential customer
4. Undertake visits to shipyard / End customer (Navy / Coast Guard)
5. Prepare & communicate Long Range Plan (LRP)
6. Prepare, monitor and achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
7. Generate enquiries and managing enquiry board
8. Coordinate with Engineering dept. finance, taxation, legal department to submit the techno-commercial offers to customers
9. Lead on tender participation – Techno-commercial offer and compliance matrix preparation and submission
10. Attend to shipyard / End customer (Navy / Coast Guard) for Technical Negotiations (TNC), Commercial Negotiations (CNC) and Price negotiations for Projects related Defence and Commercial Marine.
11. Attend to Sales Promotions events – Seminars, vendor meets.
12. Participate in formulation of Market strategies / policies
13. Undertake competition assessment
14. Work for Business case preparation for New Product
15. Work weekly / Monthly update on Market Segment – Defence and Commercial Marine Customers
16. Work dealership assessment, Liaison agents / distributors
Educational Qualification
Minimum BE/BTech - Mechanical / Electrical, Maximum MTech - Mechanical / Electrical / MBA - Operations with 15 to 20 Years of experience.
