Position: Assistant Manager – Aftermarket (Automotive)
Department: Sales & Service (Indirect Channel)
Reporting To: Regional Manager – Sales and Marketing

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Achieve sales targets through effective forecasting, planning, and execution.

Contribute to annual budgeting and monitor performance against targets.

Analyze sales variances and implement corrective actions.
Channel Management

Identify, appoint, and develop distributors in targeted markets and segments.

Manage distributors as independent profit centers using a structured, process-driven approach.

Strengthen distributor relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
Technical & Commercial Support

Provide technical guidance and product support to channel partners and customers.

Deliver product training and sales enablement programs.
Financial & Compliance Management

Monitor receivables and ensure adherence to credit policies.

Ensure all distributor agreements are legally compliant and performance-driven.

Adhere to company policies, the code of conduct, and governance standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. A Diploma may be considered with relevant experience.
Experience
-
A minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive or industrial product sales.

Strong experience in managing distributor networks.

A preferred background in lubricants, greases, or similar allied industries.
