Key Responsibilities :

1.Spearheading cost reduction initiatives consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & complete re-engineering of processes and systems. 2.Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line performance indicators. 3.Proficient in negotiations through cost sheets and reverse auctions in the following categories : Plastics Paper Tin Laminates Aluminium 

• Developing and implementing key procurement strategies / purchase schedules and ensuring that these strategies / schedules are aligned with organizational objectives.

• Identifying and developing vendors for obtaining timely procurement of manufacturing items; involved in techno-commercial negotiations and finalizing contracts. 

• Formulating budgets for timely procurement of Packaging materials to ensure smooth execution of the projects.

• To continuously explore alternate sources and work with approved vendors for reduction in costs of Packaging materials. To work with Marketing to ensure shortest possible time to introduce new products. Capacity planning and execution as per business requirement.

• Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line performance indicators. 

• Handling continuous projects in an effort to reduce the cost base of materials under spending – conducting Reverse Auctions, Alternate sourcing, doing projects with current suppliers.
