Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Simultaneously serves a portfolio of clients of different sectors as allocated by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Data entry for the keeping of management and financial accounting.
- Follows and organizes the daily activities as defined and prioritized by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Assists/ supports clients on inventory activities, on their premises, as assigned by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Assists (or leads for allocated clients) the preparation of trial balances to be revised by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, profit, and loss account) for allocated small clients or as assigned by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Prepares periodical statements regarding various aspects of complex accounting records (e.g. the evolution of various types of expenditure) and other reports for allocated clients or assists, when necessary, as assigned by Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Delivery of various tax returns and other physical documents at the Financial Administration or other public authorities, as assigned by Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Transfers documents from/to private legal entities through customer representatives, as assigned by the Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Registers, files, and archives documents to secure proper tracking and effective access by topic & chronological as assigned by Senior Associate/ Manager in charge.
- Assists in the preparation of economic and financial analysis requested by the Senior Associate/ Manager/ Partner in charge.
Job requirements (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Post Graduate Studies, in Accounting and Bookkeeping Information Systems, Audit, Finance, Insurance, Banks, Business Management, or other relevant areas.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- English is a must, knowledge of the German Language or other languages of international circulation is an advantage considering that Antal cooperates with accounting hubs from all around West Europe.
Competencies Required:
- Computer literate (i.e. MS Office, ECDL, etc.) mainly Excel & Word.
- Advanced operating knowledge on at least financial software, similar to the ones used by the firm and/or the clients.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one foreign language, preferably English.
- Adaptability, resistance to stress, basic time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, taxation & corporate law, finance, and economics.
- Ability to travel in the country.
- Efficient verbal and written communication.
- Team orientation to approach and work together with people.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrates significant commitment to own development; proactively seeks out knowledge, information, and training on a broad array of aspects that are value-adding to the firm.
