Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Category Manager in developing thorough business plans for the assigned brand or category.
- Analyze historical sales data and conduct market research to identify trends and support overall planning efforts.
- Aid in tasks to meet category Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and implement defined pricing strategies for both Local and Own Brands in comparison to competitors.
- Manage consumer mapping and oversee brand/category consumer segmentation and differentiation.
- Utilize customer research information effectively to inform brand/category management decisions, including new product introductions, product assortment, promotions, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance and governance of the item master data process.
People Management:
- Set performance goals at the beginning of the year with the reporting manager and make sure they're met.
- Take charge of your learning by discussing development needs with the manager and agreeing on a personal development plan.
- Stay updated on professional advancements, new methods, and current issues through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
1-3 years of relevant experience in Retail commercial roles, FMCG, or Category Management.
Strong understanding of category management, preferably in the Health & Beauty segment.
Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting methods.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Analytical mindset coupled with strategic thinking abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
