ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Associate Director to support the growth of the Infrastructure pillar of our client’s digital offering in the Middle East. The successful candidate must have experience developing and delivering exceptional digital products leveraging agile methodologies, working with clients, creating and presenting digital strategies, and working within government or business.
The candidate must have a can-do spirit who can work well with the digital and account teams.
LOCATION
Dubai or Bahrain and travel to Saudi Arabia
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the creation and delivery of best-in-class digital infrastructure products and services for clients, such as websites, apps, SEO, virtual worlds, data, and business intelligence services.
- Support the Infrastructure offering, working with the Senior Director and Partner to develop strategy, prioritisation, go-to-market plans and staffing
- Support key Infrastructure clients with responsibility for helping to deliver Infrastructure projects
- Serve as a digital liaison, creating briefings and documents for the client and supporting strategy development and activation for Infrastructure
- Plan, attend, and support client engagement and help to cultivate relationships. Also, deliver briefings and manage interactions
- Provide strategic advice to senior clients in the form of written briefing notes, presentations, advisory notes, and face-to-face meetings
- Monitor the digital environment to identify threats to and opportunities for your client's reputation and identify appropriate responses
- Monitor digital trends and recommend innovative solutions internally and for clients
- Create and maintain a central repository for all relevant product and marketing literature for your key clients
- Run and support workshops for the pillar, both internally and externally.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH
- Contribute to presentations and pitches to prospective clients
- Play an active role in understanding the landscape of potential clients
TALENT DEVELOPMENT
- Run basic training around Digital tools where required
- Act as a buddy to colleagues.
- Have a finger on the pulse of developments taking place in tech and digital communications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Experience working in a digital product role. Building web and APP products using analytics
- Intelligence: structured, logical thinking and presentation: the ability to develop and deliver comprehensive analyses and coherent presentations
- People: the ability to influence people
- English: excellent written and spoken business English
- Project management: an ability to structure and manage your day-to-day tasks and projects
- Software: an ability to use PowerPoint and Excel (including visualising data)
- Tools: practised knowledge of digital and digital analytics tools and experience researching digital and societal trends.
- At least 6 to 7 years of experience in digital disciplines
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Understanding of verbal or written Arabic
- Excellent writing and presentational skills
- Experience participating in the development and implementation of digital product strategies
- Experience in creating innovative digital solutions, e.g. VR, Meta, AI
- Experience in marketing digital propositions
- Experience in SEO optimisation
- Excellent organisational skills and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work
- independently but also display solid team working skills
- Analytical skills and tactical judgement
