Senior Associate / Associate – Funds

 Job Description:

A leading Tier 1 law firm in Mumbai is looking to onboard an Associate / Senior Associate for its Funds practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on formation, structuring, and registration of Mutual Funds, AMCs, and Trustee Companies

• Drafting and filing mutual fund applications via the SEBI Intermediary Portal

• Liaising with SEBI and other regulatory bodies for approvals and compliance matters

• Advising on regulatory and compliance requirements under SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations

• Drafting and reviewing trust deeds, offer documents, and compliance-related documentation

• Supporting clients on legal aspects of fund governance, operations, and distribution

Preferred Profile:

• 2–6 years of PQE (2019–2022 graduates preferred)

• Prior experience with SEBI Mutual Fund Division or mutual fund houses is a strong advantage

• In-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, particularly those governing mutual funds

• Diligent, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
