Job Description:
Our client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-starting Sales/BD Head who will be responsible for shaping and supporting their local as well as US Business development efforts and scaling revenue/gross margin to the next level. Will be responsible for growing revenue through managing technical sales. Should be able to coordinate sales activities and plan strategies for new customer acquisition. Lead from the front, personally engaging at CxO level to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration. Should have a sound working knowledge of the industry’s climate and competition to effectively implement the sales strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and managing a local team of Account /BD Executives across various existing and new accounts. The person would be responsible for tapping into new accounts, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head to head opportunities The ideal candidate has to have a proven track record of success in Business Development, Account Management in IT Services and Solutions environment in a global/national market.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Need to have min. 5 years+ of experience as a Sales/BD Leader in IT Solutions and Services with experience of managing Account /BD Managers and working closely with delivery managers and leaders for seamless execution of orders
• Will be responsible for business development in different geographies such as US, UK and India
• Should have managed a team size of minimum 7 or more in a MSP staffing environment or IT services landscape
• Will be responsible for managing BD Managers on day to day review of sales pipeline to ensure there is potential to move from prospecting stage to closure
• Partner with the US sales team to strategize on revenue and gross margin growth in each account.
• Participate in weekly and monthly account reviews and data analysis to determine the revenue and gross margin performance tracking on each account.
• Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of clients/accounts to offer and deliver the best services with minimal client escalations
• Collaborate effectively with delivery team members and account managers/US sales personnel to ensure client satisfaction through seamless execution of delivery

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Industry Experience: Account management and business development in an IT services environment with a focus on ERP solutions
Travel Requirements: Should be willing to travel to US and other geographies based on requirement
