JD comprises of : 

#    Part Feasibility review of parts.(Concepts,GD & T)
#    Stagewise process design for stamping process.(Cutting Operations,Bending,Deep Draw,Forming)    
#      Prepare Quality plan of the product to be developed.(PFMEA,Poka-Yoke')
#     Approve the Tool design.(Type,Design,Material,tonnage etc.)
#      Manufacturing of tool/Fixture / Gauges concept(Machining.Heat treatment etc.)
#     Track the projects for progress of tooling development.(Timebound)
#     Conduct stage wise PPAP at component manufacturer .(IATF)
#     Review process costing & give inputs to costing team.(Market Scenario)
#     Continual improvements in processes to improve upon Quality , cost , delivery (Quality tools,)
#     Experience in similar industry & function
