Job Description
- To Target and Develop Corporate Accounts – Sustainable business.
- Responsible to get new accounts on board.
- Generation of Inbound and Outbound air and sea cargo from various origins and different destinations.
- Meeting new and existing clients in designated area, understanding their logistics needs and then providing a complete cost- effective solution for their requirements.
- Support sales team in business growth by regularly visiting existing and new customers and targeting their cross functional business.
- Monthly/Quarterly reviews with customer to gain confidence/ volumes.
- Coordination with sales support staff and customer -support departments to ensure the best of the services to the customers.
- To ensure timely collection of payments from the customers.
- Ensure all the billing files are timely shared with Accounts team and support in collection of overdue o/s payments by following up with customers.
- Act as front end to all the customer issues and ensure regular operational support for all the business handled.
- Maintain records of customer details/sales visits / Compliance on all MIS reports/data maintenance and statutory requirements
- Generate MIS as per the business need for the customer and Management.
- Liaison with overseas office and seeking their support for important customers.
- In addition to freight forwarding, selling all other products i.e., Export/Imports (Custom Clearance), warehousing, transportation, heavy haulage, 3PL etc.
