Our client is a top tier international law firm, which has been serving multinational and local clients in Bulgaria. This is an exciting opportunity to join their growing Employment & Compliance team. The practice covers employment and compliance law, encompassing data protection, labour law, IP structuring and compliance, competition law, consumer protection, and more.     

As an Attorney at Law (Associate or Senior Associate) you'll work in a multi-national environment, sharing a culture and values that promote professional growth and expertise.

Main responsibilities:

• Engage in direct professional relationships with major international and national clients in Bulgaria and the CEE region across various industries
• Collaborate daily with market leaders and experts, with the support of experienced colleagues throughout the firm
• Bring ideas, and positive energy to a dynamic team

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Experience in a leading top-tier Bulgarian, UK, or international law firm or within a large in-house employment/compliance team
• Diverse range of relevant experiences, including but not limited to workforce structuring, IP protection, regulatory compliance, managing mass and sensitive dismissals, and handling employee benefits
• Very good legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in English
• University degree from an accredited international or Bulgarian law school
• Admission to the Bar Association in Bulgaria is a plus
