Job Profile Summary:

• Electronics or Automation university degree or equivalent
• Experience in the field of service and maintenance of industrial equipment is an advantage
• Good knowledge of low voltage electrical and automation equipment
• Experience in developing PLC programs and SCADA (Schneider is a plus)
• Average level of English (spoken, written)
• Capable of working at an alert pace, quickly finding technical solutions for the good functioning of equipment

Key Accountabilities:

• Automation Engineer is responsible for automation design, programming, and commissioning electrical and plc-controlled equipment according to process definition and company standards
• Implements various improvement ideas for production equipment
• Is able to identify root causes of problems  and propose & implement appropriate actions 
• Takes part in the maintenance of electro-mechanical components, managing replacement of damaged components for industrial equipment
• Monitors and supervises the well-functioning of the automation equipment in the plant
• Participates / Supervises breakdown solving
• Supervises the interventions of the contractors
• Maintain contact with the suppliers for automation solutions

Requirements:

• University (Bachelor’s) Degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum  years of relevant experience. Extensive knowledge of procurement processes, methodologies, and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to find solutions, achieve objectives and drive to completion. 
• Ability to multi-task in a high pressured environment. Good numeracy/literacy skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
