About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, and Java, with exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Prior experience in the Telecom domain would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and TestNG

• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scripts

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs

• Integrate test scripts with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitLab CI

• Perform regression testing, identify bugs, and contribute to delivering high-quality software

• Maintain test documentation and support test planning activities

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices 

Key Skills Required:

✅ 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver automation
✅ Strong in Java programming
✅ Experience with Cucumber BDD framework and Gherkin syntax
✅ Proficient with TestNG for test execution and reporting
✅ Familiar with version control systems (Git)
✅ Experience with Maven/Gradle for build management
✅ Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
✅ Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
