B2B SALES HEAD
Location: Mumbai
Reports to: India Business Head
Team size: 5 Direct Reportees
RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy, including market segmentation, target customer identification, and sales tactics that maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.
- Customer Acquisition: Oversee the sales team's efforts in acquiring new B2B customers, nurturing leads, conducting effective sales presentations, and closing deals.
- Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Sales Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and support to the sales team, including setting clear expectations, coaching, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze sales performance data, sales metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency, reduce sales cycles, and enhance overall productivity.
- Sales Training and Development: Implement training programs to equip the sales team with the necessary skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques to excel in their roles.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to make informed business decisions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Sales Forecasting: Work with the finance and operations teams to provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to overall business planning and resource allocation.
- Sales Collateral and Tools: Ensure the sales team has access to effective sales collateral, presentations, and sales enablement tools to support their sales efforts.
