Client description:

Our client is a provider of global standards-compliant SaaS Automotive Software and Data Management platform for the Connected Vehicles ecosystem. Their suite of powerful automotive software and data management solutions empowers OEMs to address hundreds of connected vehicles use cases across Fleet Management, IoT and AI / ML-powered Smart Predictive Maintenance, Data Monetization, Owner / User hyper-personalization and others, in addition to reducing recalls and warranty claims.

Role details:

• Title / Designation: Backend or Full stack Engineer – Agile Product Development
• Reporting to: Team Lead
• Location: San Jose, US

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy implement and support scalable and performant / low latency distributed systems, powered by APIs, to support large scale real-time information exchange and queries that can communicate with millions of vehicles
• Leverage agile development methodology to iterate quickly by working closely with the Firmware team, client teams and product end-users / consumers
• Adopt software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality code for frequent releases of business application

Candidate requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in server side and backend programming, in Golang or any other languages and in any SQL or NoSQL Database, for building large-scale, distributed production-grade business applications
• Proven expertise in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience and expertise in cloud-native development – highly preferable
• Experience in one or more frontend stacks / frameworks – highly preferable
• Experience in product development in rapid / fast iteration mode – highly preferable
• Experience with one or more version control systems – preferable
