As a BI Developer/ETL Developer Senior Associate you will:

• Gather and collate reporting and analytics requirements from multiple stakeholders, focused on positive outcomes and actionable insights.
• Design appropriate analytics solutions (e.g. metrics, visualizations, etc.) and assess feasibility based on available data sets.
• Work with stakeholders to recommend options to refine and improve design, to ensure requirements are met and the potential for additional value (e.g. driving efficiencies, insights, etc.) have been considered.
• Build analytical solutions, extracting and manipulating data across large, complex datasets.
• Where needed, ensure analytical solutions are efficient and can be sustained operationally once deployed.
• Visualize data in a compelling, effective, and efficient way to support data storytelling.
• Draw out insights, identifying and understanding trends and patterns in the data and translating these within the relevant business context.
• Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
• Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.
• Contribute technical knowledge in your areas of specialism.
• Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.

Role requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Dashboards and Reports developer using Power BI or equivalent BI tool
• Minimum 2 years of experience with the following tools: Azure Data Platform tools, SQL DB, and Power BI
• Preferred degree in computer science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Information System, or other related disciplines
• Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player
• Understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, or data mining, text mining concepts and a track record of solving problems with these methods.
• Experienced in big data techniques (such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark) is a plus.
   

Experienced in:

• Extensive experience in reporting & analytics tools including: 
• PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense, Looker, Foundry or equivalent
• SQL, PowerQuery; Alteryx or equivalent

Proven ability to transfer technical knowledge to clients and colleagues
