Responsibilities:
- Work along with Sales team and Delivery teams on RFP requirements by analyzing the bid details, solutioning concepts and associated risks for the project.
- Co-ordinate with practice and presales team to understand requirement and evaluate proposal accordingly as per the client requirements
- Read and analyses RFPs and provide end-to-end bid support for the medium/ large deals.
- Ensure transparent costing and pricing strategy
- Ensure that the win rate is maximized through the appropriate margin analysis.
- Timely engagement of sales, commercial and subject matter experts in the bid process.
- Manage and coordinate stakeholder relationships along with the Sales and Delivery organizations throughout the bid cycle.
- Ensure that the bid runs with a project plan and drive it to closure on time.
- Produce post-bid review.
- Ensure consistent application of the Bid Management process and framework to all the bids.
- Use Systems effectively to automate process on converting bid into order
- Co-ordinate with purchase team and give budget for the PO. And effectively manage cots and protect margins
- Ability to play an active role in contributing to the growth and future of the business.
- Interface and network with the leadership and key decision makers in the Company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a finance related field
- Project Management Certification is a plus
- At least 10 years of relevant commercial and bid management experience, especially on infra-structure projects,
- Demonstrable experience of working on large and complex bids as a Bid Manager
- Analytical, self-initiative and team player with good communication skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Knowledge of SAP will be additional advantage
