Job Description:
Responsible for the entire gamut of Sales and Business promotion activities of the company. This includes
1. Strategy and Planning
Plan, review and assess the quality at each stage of the deal pursuit process
Establishing goals, short term and long term budgets, forecasts and developing business plans for the achievement of these / the set goals
Closely liaise with Regional / Branch heads for the preparation of Sales & marketing plans specific to the target market and meet the overall Business Objectives of the organization
Manage the entire Sales process - qualification, pre sales, demos, pricing, proposals, negotiations, executions and closure
Planning and execution of work on National basis and expand network

Sales Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting and Customer visits Market intelligence and strategizing to counter the same Conducting competitor analysis by keeping a record of it Define target markets
Work / Do the Sales analysis and improvements
Strengthen / develop business terms and Contracts
Keep the Top Management currently and fully informed on staff development, key market conditions, competitive activity, and any relevant problems in all the territories via monthly reports or sooner if needed
Responsible for monitoring and controlling expenses related to doing business in all the territories. Satisfies in timely and complete fashion all business reporting requirements Viz.,
----Daily / Weekly : Business Updates and Expense Reports
----Monthly : Preplans, Summaries Management Report
---- Quarterly : Sales & Marketing Action Plan, Prospect List, and Sales Forecast
Oversee, (in collaboration with local partners) plan and execute all local arrangements for market activities, tradeshows, product introductions, and any such events as discussed with the management.
Other responsibilities from time to time may include product marketing and management, sales training, managing channel partners, identifying strategic partners, and participating in industry associations
2. Team Management
Sales Force Management
Set targets (by region) and plans to achieve these goals
Give presentations on company service offerings
Coach and mentor the Sales team in achieving their targets and grow in career
Readiness to create a team of subordinates in case the company needs to introduce new product(s) into the market
Manage all country activities including the hiring, training, and coordinating all Sales and internal office personnel in co-ordination with the Top Management.
3. Business Development
Identify and develop new streams for long-term revenue growth and maintain relationships with customers to achieve repeat/ referral business
Receivables management
Business Retention
----Augment existing business and manage Major Account(s) for achievement of Revenue & Profitability goals of the company
----Farm and grow existing account relationships
Develop new business and identify new Channel Partners
----Business origination viz., find deals, network extensively
----Oversee and have control on Franchisee / Agents / Alliance ( if any) Partners in the allotted area to develop business
----Present proposals and subsequent follow-up to win the business

Handle retail dealers and distributors network ( if any) Development of Overall Sales revenue accounts and Key Accounts
Work / Do the Sales analysis and accurately forecast Sales and Stock requirement and coordinate with
Logistics / Support team for the same.
Regularly have financial and Sales reviews with the Accounts Managers to ensure that the Budgeted Top-line and Profit Targets are achieved
Customer Support / Client Handling
Innovate by introducing new alliances and solutions that will benefit / attract clients Manage risk, estimate and monitor delivery so that clients are satisfied with our work Co-ordinate with Support to monitor & ensure effective Support System is in place
Analyze Stock Movement based on (the Secondary) Sales and have a complete control on inventory / Showroom
samples/ Warehouse
Needs a direct interface with the Company's external/internal customers
Probe and understand customer needs and customer budgets
Develop compelling proposals to address customer pain-points with the help from technical team

6. Direct Sales : Should have an understanding of Selling to Key Accounts, experience of handling Direct
Sales would be an advantage
7. Sales Process: Good working knowledge and respect for processes & guidelines to address all aspects of the sales function viz., Order Management & fulfillment, Logistics and Delivery, Collection, etc.,
8. Team Management: Should be a good team player and need to be focused on team efforts like Establish
objectives, work delegations, drive performance and positive approach on feedback & assessment
9. Product Planning: Should have a basic understanding of product pricing, packaging & promotion, etc.,
10. Logistics: Understanding of the Supply Chain logistics process from storage/shipment to final delivery
11. Maintain courteous communications at all times with Customers, Management and Staff
