Job Title: Branch Manager - Uganda

Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement and Business Development
- Meet clients regularly to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Generate new business inquiries, prepare competitive quotations, and secure contracts.
- Hand over secured business to the operations team for seamless execution.
- Conduct weekly meetings with key clients to address their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Team Support
- Collaborate with the Kenya team and other offices within the global network to drive cross-border business opportunities.
- Liaise with overseas partners to ensure smooth coordination and execution of international shipments.
- Financial Oversight and Collection
- Support the Finance Manager by ensuring timely collections and resolving payment issues.
- Monitor and manage weekly collections to maintain positive cash flow.
- Operational and Strategic Accountability
- Take ownership of the Uganda Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring the business operates profitably.
- Provide regular updates on performance metrics and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all business activities comply with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports as required, including sales pipelines, client feedback, and financial updates.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or logistics operations.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Revenue growth and client acquisition.
- Profitability of the Uganda operations.
- Timely collections and reduced outstanding payments.
- Client satisfaction and retention rates.
- Collaboration effectiveness with global and regional teams.
